Hello fellow BNIer’s,

 

Two important items:

 

1.  Photos for the website will be taken this coming Monday. Dress your best.

2.  Our next visitor stack day is coming up on June 21^st. Below is a copy of the letter we used for our last visitor day with the date updated. This visitor day is open to all categories so feel free to extend invitations to all business owners that you feel would be a good fit for our chapter. We would like to focus on the following categories as they represent our “most pressing” needs:

·        CPA

·        Business Law Attorney

·        Caterer

·        Event Planner

·        Photographer

 

Please prepare 10 letters (or more) for me to mail on the 14^th. We will offering the same incentive as last time which will be the 2 ten minute presentations. Your name will be put in the “hat” for each letter you bring by the 14^th. On that day we’ll pull 2 names and they will be given the speaking spots for the 21^st. In addition the leadership team decided to offer an additional reward of an extra 10 minute presentation (to be scheduled after the 21^st) to the member that brings the most visitors on the 21^st. So if you are better at inviting in person or sending out emails you will still have an opportunity for an additional presentation spot.

You are cordially invited to an exclusive networking event brought to you by the Midday Power Partners’ Chapter of Business Network International, Inc. (BNI), on Monday, June 21, from 12 to 1:45 at Legends Restaurant at Bennett Valley Golf Course.  We will demonstrate how your business can increase by as much as 50% through “word-of-mouth” marketing.

 

BNI is a business and professional networking organization whose primary purpose is to exchange lucrative business referrals.   It is the world’s largest networking organization and currently has almost 4,600 chapters with over 85,000 members in 46 states and 34 countries.  In 2009, members of BNI made over 4 million referrals, which generated over $1.7 billion in business for our members.  We operate on the “Giver’s Gain” philosophy that those who give business freely to others will benefit in return and get business as well.

 

What makes BNI unique is that it allows only one person per profession to join a chapter.  Thus, once you’ve joined, none of your competitors can participate in your chapter.  The Midday Power Partners chapter is currently seeking people to whom we can refer business and who are interested in generating a steady source of referral business.

 

Seating will be limited.  Please RSVP to me so I can reserve a seat for you.  There is a nominal fee of $25 to attend the meeting.  Lunch will be served.  Remember to bring 40 – 50 business cards to hand out, as you will meet many local business professionals.  I look forward to meeting you and to increasing our referral business.
